I am a Florida native, now recently moved full time to Jupiter, Fl and I am painting with acrylic, oil, and gouache. My beachtown roots have inspired my subject matter and style. Living in Georgia for over 25 years, I continued to learn new techniques by attending workshops and taking classes in color theory, drawing and painting. After raising my three sons, I began to paint full time. Life's experiences and changes continue to shape my work, and I happily embrace each phase of my artistic life. I paint because there is nothing else I would rather do than capture the beauty I see in the world, whether it is the glimpse of the sky, a shadow on a face, or fog rising from the hills. I paint abstracted landscapes, aerial cloud work and expressive realism. The skies and colors of Florida are a constant source of inspiration for my work. I currently paint and show my work at the Village Arts Studios in Tequesta, FL.
